Before an Insurance Company can begin processing a claim, a written estimate from a legitemate repair/restoration company needs to be presented to them (Insurance Company).
Once you hire Cardona Restoration to inspect a piece(s) of furniture that has been damaged, a detailed report will be furnished to you after inspection and will list all relevant information for the insurance company. Including but not limited to, all dimensions, and our opinion of approximate age, and all damage will be noted.
The written report will be backed up by numerous digital images which correspond to the report, for visual corroboration.
All images will be presented on a disk, along with the printed written report, for presentation to the insurance company to begin processing your claim.
As an insurance company will NOT begin processing a claim until such time as all relevant paperwork and images are submitted and depending on the claim circumstances, may attach a claims adjuster to corroborate or dismiss the report/claim- the fees for Cardona Restoration to inspect the furniture and to prepare a report is payable by the owner at the time of the inspection.
Depending on the piece(s) and location and time spent inspecting and preparing a report the initial call out financial outlay could be in excess of what is anticipated by the owner so we suggest submitting information on the piece(s) and location and claim ahead of time so the initial cost is not unexpected.
Should the claim for whatever reason not be processed the initial fees incurred by hiring Cardona Restoration to prepare a report are NOT refundable.
Should a claim be for a piece(s) of furniture that carries a high market replacement value please check that the appraisal is current,
and has been prepared by a knowledgeable professional with recognized credentials relating to antique furniture.
Cardona Restoration works with clients in States across the USA.
