Below is a rare $40,000.00 Federal period 1790s card table made by famous cabinetmaker's BANKSON & LAWSON who operated a workshop in Baltimore M.D. 1785-1792 -shown before restoration 3/25 and now 10/25 back in the owner's home after the work was completed. The table is part of an important collection and was purchased at auction as seen below before being given to me to work on. The independent appraisal was done after the restoration was completed.
If a piece has to be transported by a third party shipping company this charge is paid in advance by the client to the company hired.  The only time shipping companies would be involved is for out of state clients, most if not all local projects can be picked up and returned without third party assistance/expense.
If I am asked to do work that is outside my range of restoration skills I will tell you at the time of the initial estimate.  The approved estimate will become a detailed work order that will include the final price and it will also give an accurate completion date.  The complete estimate will be given after a very close inspection of the piece(s).  Payment is due upon completion of the agreed work, I accept cash, checks, PayPal
and Zelle.  All funds are processed through my business account for ANTHONY CARDONA ANTIQUES @ U.S. Bank.
