My name is Anthony Cardona, and I am the person that has completed 100% of the restoration featured on this site, and I do not sub contract restoration work to other firms as I believe that a client is hiring me based on the strength of my experience and referrals to them. 
I am a British citizen with British & Italian parents, I was raised in Northern England (U.K.)  I have been a permanent resident in the U.S.A. since 1992. 
I am third generation in the antiques trade as my grandfather was a very well-known antique dealer, and my father founded & co-ran a successful auction & retail antiques business in Northern England in the mid 1970's.
I have been involved in the antique business since age 7 when I would accompany my father on estate calls all over England and sit in his antique store with my grandmother after school & the auction premises had an onsite furniture workshop which is where at age 9 I began my journey into furniture restoration which I still practice all these years later now as a professional with 30 years of paid experience as a restorer.
The paid restoration is integrated into my general business ANTHONY CARDONA ANTIQUES which involves buying and selling antiques as well as restoration.
